at Viehhofen & Saalbach Hinterglemm
The romantic village of Viehhofen is located in the Glemmtal between Zell am See and Saalbach Hinterglemm.
A variety of activities are offered here both in summer and in winter.

With the free ski bus to: Skicircus Saalbach – Hinterglemm – Leogang (60 lifts, 6 gondola lifts, 200 kilometers of downhill runs)

The European sports region with the towns of Zell am See and Kaprun is about 20 km away (there is also summer skiing on the “Kitzsteinhorn” glacier).
CROSS-COUNTRY
The following trails are available in the neighboring towns:
– Saalbach-Hinterglemm: high altitude trail on the Reiterkogel,
Talschlussloipe (classic)
– Maishofen: several kilometers for classic and skating
– Saalfelden: perfectly groomed trails even when there is little snow in
Ramseiden and at the Ritzensee
– Zell am See / Kaprun: Access to the Pinzga trail
– Mittersill: Hochmoor trail at Pass Thurn (for winters with little snow)

Natural ice rink at the entrance to Viehhofen: free use every day, illuminated in the evening.

Playable in summer and winter, training with the local stick shooters once a week in the evening. We are happy to provide FREE RENTAL STICKS for our guests.
